This was a great historical, true to the times, and filled with passion and intrigue. Armand was an awesome hero - valiant knight, passionate, honored his word, yet he wasn't flawless. He had a habit of acting before thinking which endeared him to me.

Lady Adelaide, who has vowed to avoid marriage, finds herself entangled in a plot to pretend a betrothal to Armand. He needs to find a wealthy wife in order to ransom his captive brother.
