Here is another 2009 challenge that I am going to try. Literary Escapism is hosting the New Author Challenge. The challenge will run from 1/1/09 to 12/31/09. She is making it easy by letting you choose how many new authors you want to read.
I don't think I can read 50 because of all the books that I want to read by my favorite authors. However - I do think 25 is doable.

That's excellent that you're joining! I've had a lot of fun with this challenge this year and I can't wait to see all the new authors everyone else is going to read next year.
BTW....I LOVE Outlander by Diana Gabaldon. I read her series in its entirety before each new book comes out (yea for next year!).
