Non-Fiction Five Challenge

I really want to participate in the Non-Fiction Five Challenge. I don't read a lot of non-fiction and thought this would be a good way to branch out and read a genre I don't normally read. It is being hosted by Trish at Trish's Reading Nook. I really like following her blog and am glad she is taking up the reins from Joy and going to be the host of this challenge.

Here are the rules:

1. Read 5 non-fiction books during the months of May - September, 2009 (please link your reviews on Mister Linky each month; Mister Linky can be found each month on Trish's blog)

2. Read at least one non-fiction book that is different from your other choices (i.e.: 4 memoirs and 1 self-help)

3. If interested, please sign up here with the link to your NFF Challenge post (all choices do not need to be posted and may change at any time)

Here are my choices:

1. Marley and Me by John Grogan
2. Merle's Door: Lessons from a Freethinking Dog by Ted Kerasote
3. Chosen by a Horse by Susan Richards

Will have to find maybe a self-help book since the first three choices I made are memoirs.

Thanks for signing up for the challenge, Kara! I remember when I first signed up for Joy's challenge two years ago and had a moment of panic thinking--Wait! I have to read FIVE non-fiction books?? :) Now I find myself reading non-fiction more and more. Can't wait to see what you think of your books. Happy reading!
